Haunting
A downloadable Game Prototype for Windows
This is Haunting, a game I made for my Final Year Project in Game Art and Design at Limerick Institute of Technology.
The game prototype is very short and was made by just myself over a period of seven months.
I focused on creating a good atmosphere based on how I felt moving back home after living on my own for a few years before Covid-19, and how my childhood home didn't feel like home anymore.
The game was made in Unreal Engine 4 using Quixel Megascan and custom assets made in Blender, Houdini and Zbrush.
Hope you enjoy ^_^
All audio was taken from Freesound.org and I will be linking them all here as they are very good and I wish to give them full credit.

Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed it, the concept and visuals were great! I also liked the sound effects, this style has potential imo, I'd love to play more of it, good work :)
Thanks so much it really means a lot to hear you say that!!
I'm definitely going to use what I learned from it in the next project I'm work on which is going to be longer and less of a prototype.
I probably will come back to this project and style one day to build it out more and make it a more complete experience but I just feel I have a lot more to learn before I can fully do it the justice I feel it deserves.
